Asian Spiced Baby Back Ribs with Honey-Miso Glaze


  • 10 each 1 1/2 pound racks pork back ribs peeled & skinned
  • as needed Honey-Miso Glaze prepared

Asian Spice Rub

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar dark brown
  • 1/2 TBL cayenne pepper
  • 2 TBL ground ginger
  • 1 TBL white pepper ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic granulated


  1. Peel and skin baby back ribs
  2. Season generously with approximately one tablespoon of Asian spice rub per rack
  3. Cover and refrigerate overnight
  4. Heat oven to 450ºF. Place ribs on sheet pan, cover with foil and bake for 1 1/2 hours until tender
  5. While ribs are hot, cover well with miso glaze on both sides and wrap each rack in plastic
  6. Let marinate at least one hour or refrigerate overnight 

Asian Spice Rub

  1. Sift all ingredients together in a large bowl and mix well by hand.
