Pork Tips on Rice

Ingredients

  • 8 pounds boneless pork cut into bite size pieces
  • 4 cups flour
  • 6 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 cups onion chopped
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 6 4-oz cans sliced mushrooms drained
  • 10 cups water
  • 9 cups brown rice

Method

  1. Combine flour, garlic powder, and salt in a large bag.
  2. Add the meat & shake until coated.
  3. Brown meat & onion in oil in skillet or large kettle.
  4. Mix cloves, soup, mushrooms and water.
  5. Divide all ingredients equally in pans and stir well.
  6. Cover and simmer 45-60 minutes over low heat. Serve over rice.
